Although it has taken many different forms since its creation, the Convergence des luttes anticapitalistes (CLAC) still works to disseminate anti-capitalist, anti-oppressive, anti-authoritarian and anti-colonial ideas and practices, operating according to a non-hierarchical mode of organization. It does this by designing and distributing educational material, creating opportunities for knowledge/skill-sharing and cooperation between activists, and organizing struggles with the goal of collaboration between resistance movements in Tionni'tiohtià:ke (Montreal and surrounding areas). CLAC is a space for collective organization for those who oppose the violence of the state and capital.
CLAC is a member of QPIRG-Concordia and its Éduc-Pop committee, a member of GRIP-UQAM.
